Last week, Dr. Melani Setiawan, art lover lived in Jakarta, sent a book titled BALI BRAVO , Lexicon of 200 years Balinese traditional painters. This book has 335 pages, hardcover and published as second edition by Bali Bangkit Organization. It has a bilingual text and is richly illustrated throughout. The writer of this book is Agus Dermawan T. He is art critic and writer of many books and articles about art.
We are so glad to have this book. This book is about Balinese traditional painters. We can see constellations and history of Balinese traditional painting and 300 names of Balinese traditional painters mention in this book with a biographical notes and images of their paintings. Ketut Lasia, our advisor and painter in BCAA mentioned in this book in page 138 and 139. His painting titled "The Ten Lepers" included as illustration. In this book, Ketut Lasia was written as co-founder of Bali Christian Art Association (BCAA.
